How many men\n \u00a0 Have sung that song the world around,\n And longed to find themselves again\n \u00a0 Upon that sweetly hallowed ground!\n The sailor on the distant sea,\n \u00a0 The hunter high upon the hill,\n Each of them dwelling tenderly\n \u00a0 Upon its sweet relations still!\n \n The love of kindred fills the place\n \u00a0 To keep it beautiful and sweet\n Through all the years that come apace,\n \u00a0 And whatsoever we may meet.\n Nor ever man so base but tears\n \u00a0 Have dimmed his eyes the way along\n For knowing through the long, long years\n \u00a0 The truth of that immortal song.\n \n Home, sweet home! The world grows old,\n \u00a0 But that sweet song is ever young,\n And will retain its tender hold.\n \u00a0 So long as ever songs are sung,\n There is no other place the same,\n \u00a0 Wherever human feet may wend.\n And in that song we shall acclaim\n \u00a0 Our great love for it to the end.<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> Home, sweet home!
