Lampton.<\/em>\n \n\n \u2019Twas on a January day\n \u00a0 \u00a0 When fair Toinette O\u2019Keggs\n Fared forth to market for to buy\n \u00a0 \u00a0 A dozen new laid eggs.\n \u201cI want them strictly fresh,\u201d she said,\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u201cNo other kind for me.\u201d\n \u201cWell, these are just out,\u201d quoth the man,\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u201cYou have our guarantee.\u201d\n So guileless Toinette took the eggs\n \u00a0 \u00a0 Believing what he said,\n And when she opened up the box\n \u00a0 \u00a0 On one of them she read:\n \u201cWhoever gets this egg please write\n \u00a0 \u00a0 To John Smith, Waterloo,\n N.
