Oh, Bull\u2019s-Eye Bill was a burglar bold
    Who never did what he was told.
He smoked and chewed and swore and drank
    And his greatest pleasure was to rob a bank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miss Susan Slosh was a suffragette,
    A militant of the ultra set.
She\u2019d burn a castle or she\u2019d wreck a train
    Or heave brick-bats through a window pane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Bull\u2019s-Eye Bill and Susan wed
    \u2019Twas a very fine match, the neighbors said.
But Bill got blue \u2018cause his wife would roam.
    She\u2019d rather go to prison than remain at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tears would course down his cheeks so pale
    As he begged her to please come out on bail.
\u201cA jail\u2019s all right for a man,\u201d says he,
    \u201cBut it ain\u2019t no place for a woman to be.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So they disagreed an\u2019 their ways they went.
    She gets locked up to her heart\u2019s content.
And Bill gets to cussin\u2019 now and then
