It\u2019s a grand old world to be livin\u2019 in when the grass begins to sprout;
It\u2019s the finest world that I\u2019ve ever seen when the leaves are a-comin\u2019 out;
It\u2019s a bully world in the fair June days when the colts kick up their heels;
It\u2019s a fine old world when the little chicks get to scratchin\u2019 for their meals,
And I\u2019ll tell you, boys, it\u2019s a good old world \u2018long about this time o\u2019 year,
When the turkey\u2019s fat and the ax is sharp and Thanksgivin\u2019 day is near.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a fine old world when the spring work\u2019s done and the crops begin to grow;
It\u2019s a grand old world when the days are short and the fields are white with snow;
It\u2019s a bully world in the summer time when you smell the sweet new hay;
It\u2019s a dandy world when you\u2019ve sold your wheat and the profit\u2019s put away,
And I\u2019ll tell you, boys, it\u2019s a great old world when the girl you love the best
Sits alone with you where the light is low, with her cheek agin your vest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a splendid world when a fellow\u2019s young and limber and full of vim
And a good square meal is the finest thing that a body can show to him;
It\u2019s a great old world in the summer time and a fine old world in fall;
It\u2019s a bully world when you\u2019ve saved so much that you don\u2019t need to care at all;
But I\u2019ll tell you, boys, it\u2019s the dearest world and the fairest and sweetest world
