    About me that her son professes to!

\u201cI wonder if at home he\u2019ll nightly stay,
    And if he will continue to adore her;
I wonder if she\u2019ll manage him the way
    I have her dear old doting dad before her!
I wonder!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bridegroom:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI wonder if Jeanne\u2019s mother will turn out
    To be a ma-in-law to conjure fear;
I wonder if she\u2019ll often be about,
    And if she\u2019ll always be so sweet and dear!
