By Walter Malone.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>When I am bowed with grief, let me not say,<br\/>\u201cLord, I am cheered in my adversity<br\/>To know that countless thousands in this world<br\/>Today are bowed with burdens heavier<br\/>Than those allotted unto me.\u201d Let not<br\/>The selfish thought that hearts of others ache<br\/>With pangs more poignant than mine own be made<br\/>A balm to soothe me to contentedness.<br\/>No, rather let me say, \u201cThough I am thrall<br\/>To sorrow, it is comfort unto me<br\/>To know that countless others at this hour<br\/>Are glad of heart.
