Moulton.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>The purtiest woman that I ever see,<br\/>I\u2019ll tell you the truth, jest between you an\u2019 me.<br\/>She isn\u2019t no dazzler, and some fellers might<br\/>Not stop to look twice, but she\u2019s my choice all right.<br\/>She\u2019s not so blamed strong for the thing they call style,<br\/>She don\u2019t wear her hair in a half-bushel pile.<br\/>The beauty shops never make much off\u2019n her.<br\/>She don\u2019t have her gowns made in Paris; no, sir!<br\/>She don\u2019t strut around like a peacock and pose.<br\/>She don\u2019t keep a-daubin\u2019 white stuff on her nose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>I have heard of the beauties of Spain and of France,<br\/>But with me they would not stand a ghost of a chance.<br\/>I have gazed upon paintings of world famous queens,<br\/>And I\u2019ve seen a good many made-up actorines,<br\/>But the woman who used to bounce me on her knee;<br\/>She\u2019s the purtiest woman that I ever see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From The Topeka State Journal, September 25, 1914.
