By Fannie Stearns Davis.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>I lit the fire for you alone,<br\/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;And then you never came.<br\/>The Others sat here, while the blown<br\/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Red rapture of the flame<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>Swept up the chimney to the night,<br\/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;They sat and looked at me.<br\/>They found me fair by that firelight<br\/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;You never came to see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p>The Others love me more than you;<br\/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Yet I was angry.
