I\u2019m the best pal that I ever had.    I like to be with me;I like to sit and tell myself    Things confidentially.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

I often sit and ask me    If I shouldn\u2019t or I should,And I find that my advice to me    Is always pretty good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

I never got acquainted with    Myself till here of late;And I find myself a bully chum.    I treat me simply great.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

I talk with me and walk with me    And show me right and wrong;I never knew how well myself    And I could get along.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

I never try to cheat me;    I\u2019m as truthful as can be,No matter what may come or go    I\u2019m on the square with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s great to know yourself, and have    A pal that\u2019s all your own;To be such company for yourself    You\u2019re never left alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll try to dodge the masses,    And you\u2019ll find the crowds a jokeIf you only treat yourself as well    As you treat other folk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve made a study of myself,    Compared with me the lot,And I\u2019ve finally concluded    I\u2019m the best friend I\u2019ve got.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
